Project Details

The migration of the Botec F1 to the Siemens Braumat V8.1 was a significant challenge that was overcome with a clear focus and determined teamwork. The project team, consisting of 4 to 6 members of PAVIS PL and 2 to 3 specialists from the customer PL, worked closely together to successfully realise the conversion and the addition of parts of the hardware. A high-performance controller with five CPUs from the Siemens 1518F, equipped with a modern OPC-UA interface, was used in this complex project. 

The time frame for this comprehensive transformation totalled 15 months, during which we divided the project into four to five sub-steps. With a total of around 6000 hours of software engineering, our aim was to ensure maximum efficiency and quality in the implementation of Siemens Braumat V8.1.
