PAVIS Engineering GmbH - Automation with global aspirations and regional roots

What began in 1993 as a one-man company run by Peter Kubalek has developed into an internationally active specialist for automation solutions over the past three decades: PAVIS Engineering GmbH, based in Ravensburg, today stands for technological excellence, innovative strength and sustainable growth.

The company gained momentum with a project at the Leibinger brewery, when Max Leibinger gave the company a huge leap of faith and commissioned the automation of his brewery on the basis of the Siemens SISTAR/Braumat system from PAVIS Engineering - for which we are still grateful today. Hundreds of projects with similar systems such as Proleit, PCS7, WinCC, Rockwell etc. followed.

From the founding spirit, from local to global presence With a clear focus on the process engineering industry, PAVIS established itself early on as a reliable partner for engineering services in the beverage, food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. Today, in addition to its headquarters in Ravensburg, the company also has branches and agencies in Spain, India and the USA - a clear sign of its international orientation and the trust of global customers in PAVIS' expertise.

Focus on future industries The company's strategic direction is clearly defined: Pharmaceuticals and biopharmaceuticals, dairies and the beverage industry are at the heart of future business development. These industries are characterized by high demands on quality, safety and efficiency - requirements that PAVIS meets with tailor-made automation solutions

MTP - the future of automation and the key to modular process automation The Module Type Package (MTP) is a central concept in modular process automation. It enables the standardized integration of process modules into higher-level control systems - regardless of the manufacturer of the modules or the control system. PAVIS Engineering sets its own standards in this area and carries out its own development, partly financed by research grants. MTP is a standardized, manufacturer-independent description package that contains all relevant information of an automation module. This includes - Functional description - Interfaces (e.g. OPC UA) - Visualization elements - Diagnostic information The goal: Plug & Produce - i.e. the fast, flexible and secure integration of modules into an existing production environment.

Systematic growth We would not have come this far without our great employees and the excellent working atmosphere, many thanks to the whole team for this - say both Managing Directors in unison. Together with its Co-Managing Director Wolfram Hänsel, a highly experienced automation specialist from the bio-pharmaceutical and beverage industry, PAVIS Engineering has set itself ambitious goals: The company is aiming for annual sales and profit growth of around 20 percent. This is to be made possible by a combination of technological progress, consistent customer orientation and the continuous further development of the company's own processes.

Ravensburg as a location for innovation Ravensburg, with its flair and attractive location, offers ideal conditions for the development and implementation of ambitious projects. The proximity to universities, specialists and industry partners creates an innovation-friendly environment that PAVIS makes consistent use of.

Specialists for the growth path For its growth plan, PAVIS Engineering needs specialists in the field of automation software to strengthen its international team, as well as qualified and experienced electricians for the production of switchgear.

Conclusion: The PAVIS Engineering GmbH is a prime example of a successful medium-sized company "Made in Germany": regionally rooted, internationally networked and with a clear view to the future. Founder Peter Kubalek laid the foundation stone - together with Wolfram Hänsel, the two have the goal of continuing to shape the company as a driving force in the automation industry for decades to come.
